THE UNSEEN REALITY
There is much more going on around us than meets the eye.
Our contact with the world in which we live is made possible by our senses.
The creation of these senses is much like instruments we create today to recognize certain things. For example: a bar code reader is created to read the lines of code and translate it into a number. It can’t see your hand or is even aware of your existence.
Even though we have spiritual senses within each of us they can be blocked by other factors that are apart of our thinking process.
The historical record from many parts of what we call the bible (which is a collection of sixty-six separate books) gives us a look at the unseen reality. This entire record is a look into this unseen world that has control over this realm we experience with our physical senses.
While, not believing in this unseen realty doesn’t change the reality of it, it will change our ability to have a right relationship with reality as a whole. Also a wrong idea of this reality will have the same effect.
In short, our entire life is lived and built on what is call a “worldview” and the out come of life moment by moment is determined by this worldview.
The most important of these life moments will be at the final judgment where our life will be judged by the only true worldview.
Let’s look at the revelation of this event give to John by God as he records the events given to him.
REVELATION
CHAPTER 20
20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose
face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no
place for them.
20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the
books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the
book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which
were written in the books, according to their works.
20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell
delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged
every man according to their works.
20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the
second death.
20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast
into the lake of fire.
CHAPTER 21
21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and
the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from
God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the
tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and
they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and
be their God.
21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall
be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be
any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things
new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and
faithful.
Dear friend,
Please read the record of God and be sure you have a real worldview, which is controlled by this unseen reality.
